My current research interests are in Ex vivo pancreas perfusion models and Islet transplantation. My doctorate thesis describes the world’s first reliable and reproducible porcine pancreas normothermic physiological perfusion model. I successfully demonstrated its application to test and investigate parameters of relevance to whole organ pancreas and islet preservation.
