I am a Principal Systems Engineer and Data Engineering Architect at The Home Depot, with over 15 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex database environments. I have earned multiple certifications from Oracle and Google Cloud Platform, demonstrating my proficiency and expertise in cloud and database technologies.My mission is to drive performance engineering at The Home Depot by designing automation and self-service solutions for various database platforms, such as Oracle, SQL Server, Cassandra, MongoDB, and MariaDB. I also provide solution architecture for containerization of databases using technologies like Nomad, Docker, Cloud Foundry, Redis, and Cloudbolt. Additionally, I lead the efforts of on-prem/off-prem hybrid cloud model for legacy and emerging database platforms, leveraging various cloud offerings such as Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Platform.Some of my notable achievements include leading the project of the first production implementation of Exadata Database Engineered System at Apple, supporting the database projects for the first iPhone and iPad production, developing the support model for 24x7 support infrastructure for 30+ Apple manufacturing facilities, installing and implementing over 35+ Exadata Database Engineering Systems, streamlining the order management process by bringing ~2000 Home Depot stores on a common database platform for consolidated inventory management, and leading and supporting the data analytics team for fraud and abuse at Apple, which saved from ~$1M to ~$60M in four years.
