As a quality assurance compliance manager, my responsibilities included overseeing the development of a comprehensive quality assurance and records management program. I evaluated existing policies and procedures to coordinate internal practices and ensured the implementation of international compliances according to customer requirements.I worked closely with both internal and external staff to develop procedures and forms and conducted quality assurance audits of various products according to standards and protocols defined by customers. I also prepared internal audits and planned for corrective action as needed, and prepared verified quality testing reports for customers.

As a material engineer focused on testing and quality management, my responsibilities included preparing inward quality reports, inline quality inspection reports, final inspection reports, and various other quality reports. I also performed different quality projects on paper and paperboard for research and development purposes.In addition, I modified, tested, and evaluated materials to provide technical advice about their suitability for different applications. My work involved providing guidance on the selection and use of materials in various projects and ensuring that all materials met required standards for quality and performance.

As an intern conducting research, my responsibilities included evaluating data collection methods and introducing new parameters to understand changes in corrugated packaging binding materials. I analyzed changes in the strength of different adhesive materials used in the corrugated packaging industry, including the effect of heat on the strength of binders and the effects of different additives on adhesive strengths.I shared the results of my research with various local corrugated packaging industry stakeholders in order to support and add relevance to the project. My work contributed to a better understanding of the factors that impact the performance of binding materials in corrugated packaging and helped to identify potential improvements and innovations in this field.

As an intern, I had the opportunity to rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant in order to gain an overall understanding of the manufacturing processes. My responsibilities included preparing testing reports for corrugated paper packaging and understanding various corrugated packaging and paper testing methods and machinery.I conducted various tests on corrugated packaging, including Sample preparation, Edge Crust Test (ECT), Corrugated Bursting Test (BCT), Face Crush Test (FCT), Pin Adhesion Test (PAT), Box Compression Test, and Starch Viscosity Test. I also conducted quality tests on paper, including Paper Bursting Test (BCT), Ring Crush Test (RCT), Cob Test, Whiteness Brightness Meter, GSM Test, and Ash Test. Through this work, I gained valuable hands-on experience and knowledge about the testing and quality assurance processes in the paper and packaging industry.

As an intern in production, I gained an understanding of the corrugated packaging production process across the plant and became familiar with various corrugated packaging and printing machinery, including Pre Heaters, Mill Roll Stands, Single Facer, Triplex Pre Heater, Double Gluing Machine, Double Facer, Thin Knife Slitting Machine, NC Cutter, Sheet Delivery System, Flat Bed Die, Rotary Die, Folder Gluer Machine, and Bundling Machine. I also learned about Single-Four Color Flexographic Printer, Single-Four Color Offset Printer, and Flute Laminator.I became familiar with different corrugation flute types, including B, C, E, BC, and BE, and gained an understanding of corrugated box styles according to FEFCO standards. I received training on CAD software and learned about different die cut box styles. I also became familiar with different paper types, including Brown Kraft, Liner, Fluting, White Top Liner, Super Fluting, and Hard Fluting, and gained an understanding of the importance of GSM in the corrugated packaging and printing industry.In addition to these responsibilities, I assisted in the preparation of reports and delivery quantities. Overall, my internship provided me with valuable hands-on experience and knowledge about the production processes and machinery used in the corrugated packaging and printing industry.
