Solving complex business problems with a passion for tackling challenges head on. No mountain is too high. My name is Rohan Schmidt, I am a Finance + Accounting double major at Miami’s Farmer School of Business. I currently have my sights set on CPA eligibility by 2026. My current career path is aimed at helping future clients and corporations better themselves financially. I am currently looking for a Finance internship for the Summer of 2024 in the Columbus area. My passion is understanding and working with all aspects of a business, especially the key parts that make one successful. With my time at Miami, I've wasted no time getting involved around campus. I currently am a member of 4 organizations, and on the exec team for one of them. Along with this I'm enrolled with 4 different intramural teams, my hockey team being the reigning league champs. If there is one thing to know about me, its that I thrive with involvement. This has taught me valuable time management skills, as well as given me a broad, well rounded skill set. I've been fortunate to be a part of Miami’s Bridges Program, elected my fraternity’s philanthropy chair, and be a member of Asset Management. All of these organizations have set me up with good career skills and a diverse perspective on the business world. As a junior at the Farmer School of Business, I was able to excel in an integrated core of four business courses that taught me computational, innovative, communicational, and ethical business skills that will be effective for me in the workplace. My participation in the Asset Management Club at Miami has also strengthened my knowledge on the field of Finance. I have been able to assist in the management of a student-run $50,000 portfolio which has given me real-life experience with the stock market and the financial sector as a whole. To learn about my involvement at Miami and my past experiences, I invite you to continue looking through my profile! - Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have at: schmidr9@miamioh.edu
