The SaaS (Software-as-a-service) space is an incredibly innovative and exciting sector, and having the opportunity to work with business leaders, as well as fantastically skilled candidates, honestly never gets boring. Being able to bring the two together, is a great feeling (As cheesy as it sounds!) Having worked in Sales, Sales Leadership, Strategic Account Leadership (more commonly known as Customer Success now) roles throughout my professional career, I am very familiar with typical recruitment agency engagement and the challenges of hiring the best talent for my team. Equally, as a candidate, I am very aware of just how hit and miss the experience can be with a recruiter. I pride myself on integrity (I know, not something you would typically associate with the recruitment world), but it’s true and I guess that is why ‘Customer Success’ really resonates with me and why I felt that ABR were an ideal fit for me (despite never planning to work in recruitment) I’ve had agencies tell me they know what I’m looking for in my next hire, and recruiters tell me they have the perfect role, in many cases, that just wasn't the case!
