Market Research Assistant
CurrentI have worked one-on-one with over one thousand general public users to collect data while operating prototype hardware and software systems. Much of this work includes troubleshooting in order to complete sessions of data collection, documenting and solving errors, as well as working with teams of project managers to QC our collection and organize daily progress reports. I often facilitate detailed technical training as members of staff are introduced to a study or to a new piece of equipment, and have contributed to various training and operating manuals, as well as set from the ground up a new site where I trained many new moderators and helped to standardize the day-to-day workflow, establishing efficient channels of communication between study facilitators and marketing intake staff. In addition to data collection, I have acted in liaison between my marketing higher-ups and various realtors, building management, and contractors, as we search for adequate spaces, negotiate lease agreements, and make construction adjustments for offices and data collection facilities. Because I have performed both the role of intake and of data collection moderator on a number of projects, I have a grasp on what needs to be done to promote efficiency and clarity.
