Software Development Engineer In Test (Automation Engineer)
CurrentAs part of my role at BlinqIO, I ensure software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance by implementing a blend of manual and automated testing strategies. My core responsibilities include:- Developing In-house Testing Framework: Spearheading the development of a custom testing framework using Cucumber.js and google vision models, which enables simulated tests written in Gherkin scenarios, enhancing test accuracy and efficiency.- Designing Comprehensive Test Plans: Crafting robust test plans and automated frameworks to optimize testing workflows, improving both speed and precision in the quality assurance process.- Executing Manual and Automated Testing: Identifying bugs, performance issues, and potential risks through meticulous testing practices that uphold product integrity.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and drive continuous product improvements.- Conducting Regression Testing: Ensuring new features integrate seamlessly without impacting existing functionality through comprehensive regression testing.- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Documenting software issues, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely fixes, and maintaining transparent communication on progress.- Continuous Process Improvement: Regularly refining testing methodologies and practices to align with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.- Managing Customer-related Issues: Engaging in POC sessions and prioritizing resolution of critical issues to enhance customer satisfaction.- Exploratory Testing: Conducting proactive testing to uncover potential issues and suggest improvements for a better user experience.This role allows me to leverage my technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities to deliver high-quality products that fulfill both business goals and customer expectations.
