I had the privilege of shadowing and working alongside a prominent lead researcher and esteemed Professor at Georgia Tech's College of Material Science and Engineering. During this time, I was based in the MSE and MILL labs, collaborating closely with the professor. My primary focus was on refining and comprehending the intricate grain structure of groundbreaking metal 3D printed materials. Additionally, I conducted an in-depth analysis to assess their applicability across a wide array of potential uses, uncovering potential limitations in the process.
