With the aim of designing a human-powered vehicle capable of going 100 km/h (New Zealand and Southern hemisphere record), I started a club based around vehicle innovation. Through the club, I have had to submit funding proposals, run meetings, and design CAD models to optimise vehicle performance.

I am a co-founder and director of FoodFuse, a start-up focused on turning organic waste into a renewable energy source. With aims to reduce emissions, my main responsibilities are product design, energy calculations, in-depth research, and market validation.

I worked part-time as an independence coach for a 30-year-old individual missing the 22-q gene(similar to autism). My main tasks involve helping him cook, working on his talking skills, ensuring he is safe(both mentally and physically), and walking with him and his dog. I am someone who he can talk to freely which is critical for people who struggle with social skills.

Over the 2021-22 summer I worked at Cashmere Engineering, doing a variety of design tasks for the boss. I used Revit and Inventor to model complex structural components to be fabricated and assembled. I developed skills in stress analysis, CAD, and critical thinking as well as some hands-on skills in machining and welding.
