Rohan currently manages the engineering project controls section at the Bruce Power site. The team is comprised of 25 staff and managing more than 450 interdisciplinary engineering projects with a portfolio value of more than $175M.

The design engineer role includes the identification of preferred design options, analysis of the options to determine suitability for implementation in the plant's structure. This includes an extensive stakeholder consultation with the selected option to establish the project's ROI. The final engineering report provides the recommended design option along with the project's business case. 2014 - 2017: Performing a project controls specialist role ($7M engineering) for the portfolio of Post-Fukushima improvement action plan at Bruce Power. Projects include the design of emergency water addition connection points for the primary heat transport system, moderator, and end shield cooling system. Additional modifications include providing beyond design basis overpressure protection for the reactor. Duties involve establishing the project scope, stakeholder management, maintaining the engineering budget, providing oversight to engineering design vendors, and ensuring deliverables meet the quality requirement. Since all projects are tied to CNSC regulatory commitments, I provide update letters to the regulator to track progress and ensure that the project implementation is completed as per the installation commitments starting in 2014 and going out till 2019.
