I work on channel estimation (CE) techniques for mmWave communications (5G) under the supervision of Prof. Bhaskar Rao. In my research, I involve array signal processing techniques, more specifically newer sparse array structures like nested arrays, to enhance CE performance thereby improving spectral efficiency.

Conducted lab sessions for 30 students with diverse majors. Organized extra lab hours for students without prior programming experience and helped them go though the class material and midterm, at a reduced pace.

Project Title: Enhancing 5G Coverage via LEO Satellite LinksEvaluated impact of large RTT on Hybrid ARQ; designed and tested new ideas for exploiting pre-NACK opportunities; performed link budget calculations and scenario set-up in MATLAB

Thesis Title: K-Gaussian Coded Caching Problem, Inner Bound and its OptimalityComputed an inner bound to the K-Gaussian coded caching problem with a circulant correlation structure. Obtained approximate numerical solution to the optimization problem over a non-convex domain for K-Gaussian and verified the conjecture in reference numerically.
