Rohan is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, strategic thinker, shipbroker and maritime/chartering/logistics expert with a 30 year track record of developing home grown as well as established brands and alliances - regional to global. Following a long innings in the Middle East based out of Dubai, UAE, he returned to India where he spends time in the mountains with his family while developing several exciting new ventures with business partners across the world - all primarily focused on his core expertise in the international deep sea transportation and specialised logistics businesses.His current projects include and are not limited to:- the development, curation and introduction of patented and tested disruptive technologies - chemical, mechanical, filtration and information - all with a very green/ESG tinge - to the global industrial maritime ecosystem and beyond- blockchain and AI based solutions for improving provenance/traceability/transparency within the global supply chain (with emphasis on international deep sea shipping and logistics)- adapting blockchain based solution(s) for several segments of the agro-commodities space including coffee, palm oil etc.- working with farmers and growers and onboarding these key stakeholders on to our blockchain based CMS platform for carbon credit certification and moreAn alumnus of Harvard Business School, he is also an active member of the Entrepreneurs' Organisation – EO and the Old Lawrencians Association.
