This site has generated 100’s of 1000’s of hits, and massive amounts of traffic. Some months up to 10 terabyte of data. As part of the Accenture Digital Interactive team, my focus is on platforms. My areas of expertise are content management systems, experience management systems and e-commerce platforms. I do have a focus on the Adobe Marketing Cloud, and the integration thereof into corporate systems and other platforms (for example Oracle Commerce, Hybris and Backbase). The client is based in Dubai, and I worked on-site as well as remotely, while managing a team from our Indian Delivery Centre.The platform will eventually run about 50 websites of the DAM. The DAM will handle millions of assets at project end, as well as serving those assets to high volume e-commerce websites. The DAM also integrates with Oracle Commerce and Oracle Retail, the internal company marketing studio, social channels, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Maxxing customer loyalty software.

Currently, I work with Adobe Web Experience Manager, a enterprise level web content management system aimed at large companies.I am involved with digital innovation at Shoprite Checkers; Africa's largest retailed. I am also still actively programming, both for Shoprite and other projects. I see myself as a person that lives in three worlds; the IT world, creative world as well as business world. I do enjoy dealing with clients, and working with them. I am also a not averse in following up leads and making introduction where I see a gap. I have always felt I am one of the few people I know who can do the tech, as well as the other human facing side of business. At Shoprite my client is mainly the marketing and digital people, as well as the marketing agencies. For instance, for the Adobe Web Experience Manager project I just completed, I had to do the following:• Spec the requirements; from Shoprite Checkers marketing department, 2 marketing agencies (99c and Salient) to IT.• Researched about 20 solutions, and compare capabilities.• Interacted with some of the vendors.• Drove a formal RFP process with 4 vendors.• Drew up all the technical requirements to get the system authorised for use on the Shoprite IT platform.• Get buy-in from the agencies into the solution, as they will be using it mostly.• Assist the agencies in implementation.• Attended Adobe training for Adobe Web Experience manager.My earlier project was to find a suitable MEAP (Mobile Enterprise Application Platform) through which the company can develop mobile applications for vendors and staff. All the same steps was completed as was done for the Adobe project.
