I have extensive experience in Dry dockings , Scrubber , BWTS installation, Retrofits of ESD's like Mewis duct, Eco Cap, PBCF, Silicon paint ( High performance paint),Neo Panama fitments, etc.I am also a part of the Environment team working towards reducing the Carbon footprint , researching and implementing several options like Eco Cam, De-rating of Engines, EPL (Engine Power Limitation) , Water in oil emulsions, Solar panels, Wind turbines, Fuel additives, Propeller re-sizing, etc. I have handled several projects like installation of Filtration systems replacing the Lube Oil purifiers, in turn reducing the power consumption and increasing the Lube Oil life and renewal interval by keeping the Lube Oil in as good as new condition. Have researched and installed the Vibration Monitoring sensors for Condition monitoring of the Generators, Pump, COPT`s, etc assisting in preemptive maintenance saving the company huge costs in breakdowns and off hires. I was leading the team, handling the end to end delivery of spares from the vendor, warehousing, till delivery onboard the vessel, including customs clearance. I have extensive experience of dry dockings, major repairs, pre-purchase inspections & take over of vessels in Dubai, Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, etc.I also took over as the HSEQ Manager for ASP , handling all ownership as well as 3rd party vessels. Managing the Rest hours, Near Misses, Accidents / Incidents, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with CA, PA. I was also handling the DOC , ISO, TMSA and PMS audits for the company.I also entered into Business Development in 2018 , reporting to the CEO. We used to make Presentations to the Ship Owners for the Ship Management business which included Technical as well as Manning. This role included extensive budgeting, projections, handling profits & finances, etc.Same year I started tendering for SCI (Shipping Corporation of India) research vessels which included Technical , Manning, Catering & Agency. I was leading the team, doing research, budgeting, preparing and submitting the government Tenders, following up on the bids,etc. We also managed to win a 40 Cr / 5 yrs bid for one Research vessel in early 2019.Same year , I completed PGDM in Maritime Law from Gujarat National Law University, which helped us in reducing the Legal and Contract Drafting expenses , giving us a fighting chance against some of the major players in winning bids and getting more business.
