HPX (now Ivanhoe Electric and HPX mines) Service for Equity business model leverages the Ivanhoe Group's experience and proprietary technology, including the Typhoon IP system, in exploration partnerships around the world, including Australia, Canada, the US, Chile, Colombia and Peru.As VP Exploration, and reporting to the CEO, I reviewed many hundreds of opportunities, particularly Au and Cu-Au projects in Asia, Australia and the Americas and guided exploration at new ventures and JV’s.

Ivanhoe Mines Mongolia (now Turquoise Hill) was an aggressive, well-funded explorer that was an early mover in Mongolia, holding extensive tenements over nearly one third of the country, and is best known for the discovery of the world-class Oyu Tolgoi deposit. A critical role, reporting to the Exploration Manager, running the Kharmagtai porphyry Cu-Au project, Ivanhoe’s most advanced Mongolian project outside of Oyu TologiResponsibilities: • Develop, execute and report yearly exploration programs, delivering programs on time and on budget (~$5M pa).• Provide leadership at a remote multicultural base in the Gobi Desert, with 20-40 Mongolian and expat staff.• Develop and execute exploration programs on epithermal Au, IOCG, VHMS and porphyry Cu targets over Ivanhoe’s extensive tenements holdings.Achievements:• Transform operation by providing a sound geological framework for a complex porphyry cluster, developing deposit models to guide successful exploration and optimizing workflows by delegating key roles.• Discover and extend resources at three outcropping alkaline porphyry Cu-Au stocks, leading to a resource of ~36 Mt resource @ ~0.9 % eCu, while also discovering new porphyry systems under cover by modelling and analysis of magnetic, gravity and IP data.

• Explore several large terrains for porphyry and epithermal mineralisation. • Remote sensing and district-scale alteration mapping with follow up mapping and sampling.
