About Thomas Rohde
I wanted to play the piano. Badly. But my dad (a salesman) got a great deal on a drum kit. So at the age of 12 I set out to become a drummer. I practiced, practiced and then practiced some more… It won me a place at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. To live and breathe music was a dream come true. However, in the end I realized that I too wanted to be a salesman. Since then I have worked with sales, marketing and management in all parts of the music business:Marketing Manager at Universal Music and PolyGram Records. CEO for e-publisher SheetMusicNow.com. Head of Wilhelm Hansen Concert And Theatre Management and acted in that capacity as the Sole Agent for amongst others Anne-Sophie Mutter, Isaac Stern and James Galway in Scandinavia and as an Artist Manager for Danish artists such as Safri Duo worldwide.And since 2008 I have been the CEO of MXD – Music Export Denmark.
