•Project Title: Marketing Strategy for attaining leadership position for Amul Ice Cream in North and South India•Project Brief: Understanding the top selling variants through a consumer survey and matching it with the top selling variants of Amul Brand.•Understanding the Brand Amul’s strength in the market vis-a vie the competitors by contacting the other channel members like distributors and retailers.•An exploratory research was conducted involving all the channel members, i.e. whole sale distributors, retailers, push cart vendors and modern format store managers.•Surveys were conducted using pre tested questionnaires for consumer and retailer study.

•Project Title: To study the borrowing behavior among the members of the community institutions promoted by Srijan namely Maitree (Rajasthan) and Sagar shree producer company (M.P), so as to explore possibilities of livelihoods microfinance for dairy on a large scale.•Project Brief: The scope of the study were the two locations where SRIJAN’s intervention were carried out one was in the Duni block of Tonk District in Rajasthan and other was in the Jaisinagar block of Sagar district where community institutions were being promoted by SRIJAN.•A baseline was designed and data of around eighty families was collected at each of the locations using stratified sampling (via questionnaires and informal interviews) to get details of the annual income & expenditure of the families along with their credit details. Finally factors affecting the borrowing behavior were determined and regressed to get to statistical significant factors.
