My work at Lend A Hand India Pune involves working extensively towards the intersection of education and livelihoods especially of young students. I work with a team to provide platforms to these young students pursuing vocational skill education to do internships at various professional workplaces. I work closely with a mix bag of stakeholders to implement the internship program all across Pune city. These are the students, their trainers, parents and Principals of college, employers of various workplaces. My work enables the students to find better work/job opportunities, it also helps them to take an informed career choice in future.

My work as a Sr, Assistant Manager involves working closely with the waste collectors in Delhi to enhance their livelihoods. I manage a team of three assistant managers and eight field supervisors to ensure effective implementation of all the projects we are handling in the program called Scavengers to Managers. These projects include door to door waste collection services in Delhi and Patiala, waste management of bulk waste generators in Delhi, and an application called Pick my Trash.My work also involves rigorous planning to meet the desired targets and submitting the periodic result reports of the work done. I work very closely with the Finance team by preparing financial budgets of all the specified projects. I am also responsible for conducting trainings of waste collectors, RWA members and employees of private firms on Solid and E-Waste Management Rules, 2016.My work in Chintan has helped me to communicate effectively both internally within my team as well as with all the external stakeholders involved. My daily work enables me to polish my skills of team building and crisis management. It has helped me to be more patient, sharp and positive in every dimension.

I worked here hand in hand with the tribals of Tryambakeshwar in order to prevent constant migration from their homeland to big cities. As a part of the Cluster Facilitation Team project, of Ministry of Rural Development, my work as a community organiser was mainly concentrated on making efforts to implement the MGNREGA effectively.. I was mobilising and coordinating a team of 5 block coordinators and 20 village volunteers in 85 Gram Panchayats in 4 different tribal blocks of Nasik district. One of the major tasks I was assigned was to organise and conduct training sessions on MGNREGA and allied topics of all the stakeholders (Government officers, Panchayat Raj Institution members and villagers amongst others) involved in implementation of MGNREGA .I was also responsible for drafting and maintaining periodic reports and submitting them to the Government. I coordinated a project called Swabhiman Rozgar Yojana, a private initiative to fight droughts by providing livelihood opportunities to the tribals. My work here has sharpened my skills of liasoning with Government officers. It has enhanced my coordination skills required for implementation of a project scattered across numerous villages.
