More than 15+ years of experience in procurement & supply chain of IT & telecommunication materials from national and international markets.• Responsible for procurement of IT related product and services from OEM and other source to buy & expediting functions from floating of inquiries till receipt of materials.• Preparation of requests for quotation of required product & services from identified & recommended suppliers and also responsible for new vendor development for Sourcing & Vendor Evaluation & up gradation.• Negotiations with vendors for the best price, term & condition and support after the purchase to meet allocated budget.• Drafting the purchase order in ERP and take approval of concerned department & individual till the finalization of our Purchase order.• Responsible for Setting up the terms and Conditions with new vendors/Manufacturers.• Register the product in system after getting the quote from vendor as SKU.• Constantly being in touch with Channel Managers and Account Managers of various organizations like Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sony, LG, CISCO, Microsoft etc. to get the current cost. Responsible for purchase order creation, issuance and acknowledgement from vendor. Process vendor rejected order and product by searching alternative part or vendor. Work for the replacements of EOL and Discontinued products. Amends the Purchase order as per the requirement. Follow up with the suppliers in order to ensure accurate and on time delivery via e-mail & telephone. Responsible for expedite production from supplier end in case of extreme urgency. Responsible for tracking the movement of goods & material. Coordinate with various Global Logistics Service Providers (Freight, Transport, Agents). Work closely warehouse staff and transport clerks to make sure goods and materials arrive at the dock as scheduled. Proactively inform the sales team for the delay in the delivery.
