A self-motivated, critical thinker and enthusiastic science manager with PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, who possess more than 12 years of research experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry which has enabled me to develop novel and innovative products, good problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work under pressure whilst managing several projects at once. I am currently managing a formulation development team to carry out R&D activities for the development of human health /probiotic products for oral, dental, gut, and, skin. I am a pharmacist by training and have done a Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the United Kingdom and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from New Zealand. I have worked with Bayer New Zealand on R&D Research Fellowship as a Theme leader- Pharmaceutical sciences for the development of injectables for animal health. Overall I have around 12+ years of experience in research translation including many patents and have led and managed numerous product development projects from the pre-formulation, formulation, clinical trial, B2B and CRO technical transfer, QA/QC, scale-up, and products launches. In addition, I have gained experience and qualifications in regulatory affairs and project management.
