I am Rohit Rawat, a dedicated biochemist and biotechnologist with a passion for fungi. My academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, followed by a master's in Biotechnology. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, focusing on Mycological research. I have developed some of the rarest fungal strains in my lab, further fueling my fascination with the fungal kingdom. In 2020, I founded HARI Lifesciences, a startup where I channel my passion for biotechnology into practical training. As the Director, I have had the privilege of training over 1,000 entrepreneurs and students, helping them build their skills and careers in the life sciences industry. My professional experience includes working on an INDO-US project sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Govt. of India. I have authored 22 research papers, hold 4 patents, and serve on the editorial team of the International Journal of Agro Studies and Life Sciences. Additionally, I have been invited as a resource person at esteemed institutions like St. Edmund's College, Shillong; North-Eastern Hill University; VIT University; LN Medical College; and many more.I have been honoured with the following awards: - - Alumni Excellence Award by Career College - Innovation Award by VIT University - Entrepreneurship Award by RNTU University - Best Researcher Award by International Journal of Agro Studies and Life Sciences - Awarded by Microbiological society of India (MSI)My work is a blend of scientific rigor and a love for fungi—after all, I am a "funguy" who works on fungi!
