Led a team of 50+ direct reports and delivered $25M+ annual production, while establishing India as the global benchmark for operational excellence across metrics such as cost, quality, productivity and employee satisfaction.

Enabling Scalable Water Access for Rural CommunitiesI worked in the Nalbari and Tezpur Districts of Assam with rural communities facing issues with access to clean drinking water.In Nalbari I evaluated existing water supply systems in an area where ground water is polluted with extreme levels of Iron and Arsenic. I engaged with over 100 members of the local community and based on their needs and grievances, scoped alternate water supply opportunities and prepared a technical project proposal for surface water sourcing by tapping lakes and ponds to drive the narrative away from the poisonous groundwater. In Tezpur I was faced with an area that neither had electricity supply nor any existing clean water supply systems. There were no sources of static surface water and the rocky subsurface environment made it very hard to sink wells. I evaluated the potential of harvesting water from a stream network originating in the nearby Himalayan foothills, charted streams, estimated flows, capacities and proposed a diversion based water supply system to be built from scratch.

Opportunity Scoping for Quick Wins in Collaborative Supply Chain ManagementWorking at ITC, Agri-Business Division as a KITES Intern, I was recognized for executing a first-of-its-kind multi-divisional project in collaborative transportation management. I was challenged to deliver a scalable and synergistic solution in collaboration with teams from 9 different divisions. I was able to identify & formulate cost saving opportunities worth ₹11 Cr, improve asset utilization by 8% and design an operating framework to harness synergy across 60+ supply chains.

Design and Optimization of an Agri - Commodity Supply ChainAn interest in working with large systems and public policy led me to the Indian School of Business where I worked on a novel design and optimization of a decentralized Public Distribution System. Working with a multidisciplinary team with backgrounds in operations, policy, economics and agri- business I was able to deliver critical insights into the food security framework in India and simulate operational efficiencies worth almost ₹20,000 Cr while reducing consumer expenditure by ₹3,000 Cr in a network spanning 600 districts and 200 million consumers.
