Senior Analyst
CurrentRoles and Responsibilities:- Adding new features to the in-house test automation framework from time to time such as enabling the UI tests execution on disposable Selenium Grid using docker, creating dashboards for displaying automation contributions from scrum teams as well as open bugs in JIRA, automated accessibility test execution using Axe Core library, creating multi-factor authentication enabled test user data using Microsoft Graph API, upgrading the underlying .NET version & related NuGet libraries of the framework from time to time etc.- Customising the framework engine to support new clients & extending the DB automation for them- Maintaining the required C|/CD infrastructure to ensure seamless regression execution- Analysis of the run results of daily regression of different test automation suites (viz. UI, Mobile, API etc.) & subsequently raise all the defects and follow up with the corresponding scrum team- Conversion of the existing Android test scripts to extend them to iOS and subsequently create a cronjob exclusively for iOS execution in Browserstack and maintain the same over time- Work on utility creation assignments that could be incorporated to the UI based Test Automation Runner to add several analytical features such as finding execution time for each test in the log etc.- Demonstrate all the approaches and enhancements added to the test automation solution to the QA Department and other stakeholders- Participate in the lateral hiring drives as L2 interviewer- Code review and provide approval to the pull requests created by the QA Department folks- Maintain the database of the internal HRMS application and periodically generate the attendance report and share across the stakeholders through automated email triggers- Provide automation training to the scrum testers and other related stakeholders and demonstrate the features of the automation framework and solutions to the scrum teams- Mentoring the new joiners in their initial days
