The product allowed companies to present an interactive guide to consumers. I was reporting to the CTO. The company was acquired by Dealtime which became Shopping.com.Responsibilities:● Architected web site generation platform that facilitated co-branding, rapid deployment, decentralized site management and ASP version of company’s core product.● Manage the Web group.● Responsible for maintaining and deploying the web site.● Interact with the Knowledge Engineers, QA, Senior Management and draw up product plans.● Created process and applications for day-to-day activities.● Part of the core team that was involved in the acquisition due diligence.

Productopia was one of the leading consumer review sites. The company had expert reviews for all consumer-related products. I was responsible for applications group and the web traffic analysis group.Responsibilities:● Architected platform for automatic feeds related to product and pricing information with completely automated updating of content.● Redesigned and implemented Content Entry Tool that allowed content producers complete control over all aspects of Web site and gave them the power to age and publish content.● Developed product development processes and procedures.● Implemented numerous proof of concepts for executive staff.● Managed application development group and web traffic analysis.● Created the commerce bar for the site. This involved content specific deep links, which were generated through data feeds.Business rules were then applied to generate the commerce bar. This was the only revenue generating feature.● Responsible for the stability and quality of the site.● Built significant pieces of the database infrastructure.

RMS is one of the leading companies in the software market for the insurance industry. The company specializes in doing financial modeling to calculate the impact of a catastrophe like earthquake, hurricane and flood.Responsibilities:● Designed and maintained the data model that represented the results of all calculations (RDM). This project was part of the RiskLink Product.● Created a distributed version of the product. It allowed the software to be run simultaneously on several computers thereby saving users hundreds of hours of computing time. The software did not use any IPC but used the database for synchronization.● Created COM based components, which provided support for business rules and financial calculations.● Maintained and enhanced the core libraries used.● Wrote tools to generate C++ code for database access.
