This Project is a Standard Chartered Bank project to implement the security settlement .Standard Chartered Bank is starting its Custody Business in South Africa. SCB uses NCS in all its other markets for settlement processing. One of the key requirements of this project is to interact and integrate with local depository STRATE. webMethods will be used as the middleware platform, providing a presentation layer (for the UIs), process orchestration and design layer (for business processes) & an ESB layer (for external/internal integrations and services).

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) is one of the 8 metropolitan councils in South Africa, and 1 of 3 provincial metropolitans within the Gauteng province. It's service departments have their own policies, business processes, technologies and procedures which are not standard. Therefore, current processes are not defined, integrated and cannot be measured. There is no standardized toolset on which processes are being modelled. This leads to duplication of processes and silo working. EMM is at a risk of losing its intellectual property due to knowledge that is currently not documented. This has also caused EMM’s application landscape to continuously grow (out of control) and is therefore costly and complex to manage.
