I'm a public policy professional with experience working in research and consulting setups. At present, I work as a Data Analyst with Daksh- India's leading think tank focused on law and justice system reforms and access to justice. After my post-graduation in Public Policy from National Law School of India University, I worked as a Research Associate at Centre for Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania on a BMGF-funded project in 'Agricultural Markets'. The project entailed research on factors that impacted farmers' income, and it aimed at aiding the Government of India with evidence-based policy making for its vision of 'Doubling Farmer's Income' by 2022. I was part of a research team that consulted and provided research inputs to High Powered Committee of Chief Ministers constituted for 'Transformation of Indian Agriculture'. Later, I worked as Deputy Manager at an Agri-Business Consultancy firm, Synergy Technofin Private Limited, where I managed teams for diagnostic studies of Farm Producer Companies and later consulted them by preparing business plans. I also prepared impact assessment report for a major weather reporting company.Most recently, I was on a career break to prepare for the coveted Civil Services Exam held by the Union Public Services Commission. I cleared the preliminary examination (1% success rate) and attempted the Mains examination in 2023. My interests lie in green economy, finance, rural development, agriculture, sustainable urbanisation, artificial intelligence, public transportation, youth development and sports (I am a big believer in transformative power of sports, like what Hockey has been doing in Odisha).
