    Presented two strategies to OnMobile, eVoc8 and OnNet. eVoc8 : RBT is a flagship product for OnMobile contributing 85M USD+ of rev. This contributes about 60% of OnMobile topline. RBT is in mature-post mature stage in many markets and we see associated issues like low engagement, low mind share, declining acquisitions and ARPU. After analyzing the gamut of issues: • Used blue ocean strategy and designed a product-platform construct that would create new market segment,• Used an ecosystem approach for the GTM, articulated tenets to govern value propositions to all the stake-holders of this eco-system,• To validated the tenets, crowd sourced "pretotypes" by conducting a contest in OnMobile. • Used the contest data to convince the board members and management to adopt this strategy.• Architected the solution and built demo apps, • Created the brand essence, name and logo which was widely appreciated. • Co-presented this in TADS, an international conference for telecom operators and application developers in Thailand. This was well received and reinforced the conviction in this strategy. This will be the RBT strategy for quite some time to come.OnNet: This is a business strategy that I articulated to enable OnMobile to quickly monetize its second biggest asset i.e. the relationship with operators. Business team has adopted this and I am currently guiding the execution. CBC: Initially I was contracted to manage this product line. On joining, • quelled couple of customer, vendor and field issues. • Focussed on revenues and increase it by 300%. • Launched DSTK driven by CBC (first ever?).

We developed a tablet based solution to help farmers detect pests and manage them. I also worked as interim CEO of ThinkVidya.com. This journey helped me understand the layman's perspective of technology. I got to meet a lot of farmers, farm input companies and students and teachers : ) This interaction helped me understand that people perceive technology as a tool that helps but is a lot of hassle. This has changed my perspective on how to design products and solutions.

    I worked as a serial Intrapreneur, who 1) Proactively found need-gaps pertaining to consumers, organization and the industry,2) Built solutions to fill these gaps, 3) validated assumptions and fixed “unknowns”. 4) I would get org to adopt and take on a new initiative. CBC: CBC is a broadcast technology with compelling value props and a complicated technology. There was just one company across the world in this space. As an intrapreneur I decided leverage CBC to fix scalability and stability issues while delivering unique products, business models and user experiences. Eventually we were the first in the world to build a solution that had an “interactive set top box” in a SIM card. • Here I sold the solution-platform-products to an operator and got organization to commit to resources.• Build competencies in CBC technology, SIM development, BSC and BTS integration across various NEPs, • Signed up SIM card OEMs as partners, • Liaised with patent lawyers to address IP concerns and to file patents, • Defined the product, architected the solution and SIM client. • Managed the program from development, test and go live perspective,• Interfaced with various teams in operators, SIM partners and content partners,• Anchored roadshows across circles to evangelize CBC and address concerns wrt radio, network, IT, CC, VAS, billing and marketing,• Built applications and tied up content providers • Launched : )• Tracked issues made the solution stable• Built a roadmap for an OTA and DSTK platform driven by CBC. Exited. USSD: USSD was an unknown beast but had many unique value propositions. So I evangelized this in organization, identified vendors/partners and signed them up. Integrated with network and built unique products to demo. Pitched to operators. Exited.SMS P2A: This was a saturated industry with little differentiation. So I built multiple innovative products that convinced an operator to give this contract to OnMobile. Exited.
