Worked on a project to establish communication between different household electrical devices for efficient use of electric power. The project's main focus was to address the power demand problems in households powered by solar. Worked on testing and validation of different simulators.

I worked with different brands of PLCs, VFD and SCADA system. I was introduced to the concept of ladder programming and Script programming. I was exposed to various softwares corresponding to the type of PLC. I constructed a project by interfacing the PLC with SCADA to form a dynamic system that operates in real-time based on user-defined functions. I worked with PLCs to design and simulate projects to solve various real-time industrial situations.

During my one month training period I worked with the four departments of the power station namely, Electrical Maintenance, Meter and Relay Testing, Instrumentation and Turbine department. I worked with each department for a week.

I was introduced to the concept of embedded systems. I worked with Arduino software to construct various mini projects employing microcontroller (ATmega328) and various peripheral devices such as GSM, Zigbee, Bluetooth and RFID.
