About Rohit Jagtiani

My professional journey started when I developed an interest in sales through an entrepreneurial selling course I had taken during my undergraduate at Toronto Metropolitan University. In order to gain experience and expand my knowledge in this field of work, I worked two sales roles. My first one was at First Choice Group, where I worked as a Business Development Representative. Later on, I took on another role at an IT Software company named TOPdesk as a Lead Generation Representative. During my time at these organizations I learned a lot about sales and the process of qualifying/generating leads. I enjoyed working in sales as I was able to help people and make their lives easier through the provision of products/services that create value for them.As I progressed within these roles, I realized that I wanted to take on a more customer facing role. Finding solutions for customers was enjoyable, but I more so I enjoyed problem solving and working directly with them. That's what started the transition for me from sales to consulting. After graduation, I started working full-time as a service management consultant at TOPdesk. Getting the chance to think creatively, and collaborate with others makes me fond of this role.Having an upbeat, goal driven, persistent attitude, are some of my strengths which have been ingrained into my own personality through my professional experiences and my journey at Toronto Metropolitan University. Having this type of character helps me stay open minded to gaining new knowledge, aids in the achievement of success in the corporate world, and provides me with the tools and experience to be an asset in any company that I work in.
