I was helping them in multiple roles spanning across technical, consulting and managerial capabilities.I was involved in getting the Risk reporting function automated through the deployment of an enterprise-wide Data Warehouse for a large local bank in Saudi Arabia. In parallel I was also helping them to roll out a set of operational dashboards for their Cash Management business. These initiatives would enable them introduce efficiencies into operations in a short span of time. The real value however would come as the organization moves towards more and more digital initiatives which will be powered by the data governance organization we are setting up as a foundation of this project.

Coin Fintech is a club of enthusiasts who were participating in brainstorming for Fintech innovation using Blockchain, AI and Digital Technologies. We were also engaged in developing disruptive innovation products for banks which have the potential to change the way banking is done.It was dismantled in Aug 2019 but before we did, we had developed a lot of exposure working on innovation and design thinking which would be useful in our professional journeys.

Assisting a major Investment Bank in Middle East with their Marketing Analytics and BI reporting requirements. The business environment makes use of my skills in order to take decisions timely and effectively. I was also responsible for transitioning their project from waterfall to Agile methodology.

Treasury function of Standard Bank had embarked on a journey to transition from waterfall to Agile software development. My role was to oversee this migration, set up processes, train team members, sentitize them about Agile processes, conduct Scrum related meetings and ensure effective delivery. As a certified (Fund Management) domain expert I was responsible for overseeing the requirements gathering process for the clients including Silica, Old Mutual, Maitland, Sanlam and Stanlib. Engaged with the BFSI COE I have been appointed as AMC business champion and was supposed to ensure the adherence, compliance and QC of the business analysis process.Among other things, I was part of the COE that developed Agile methodology practice. This initiative was the first CONSULTING assignment I handled on my own.

Working in a newly opened branch, I was entrusted to handle all the jobs (in turns)in the retail branch spanning from sales & operations to customer service & branch audit. Starting by helping in the family business, I took over the fiberglass products manufacturing unit my father had started. I ran my own manufacturing unit including roofsheets, furniture and FRP moulding products. We turned out to be the biggest suppliers of FRP in our city and introduced products catering to local needs.
