I have completed my graduation (B.Tech + M.Tech.) in Civil and Structural Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. As a learning enthusiast, who always like to work with full dedication and commitment, I have performed pretty well in academics throughout, which is well evident from my grade point and research projects. My zeal for learning and my ability to give 100% in whatever I do have been instrumental for my success.However, while going through my academics, I realized that the society needs to witness practical application of what we are learning to reap the benefits of latest technologies. Belonging from a small town in Rajasthan, I have personally seen the hardships faced due to scarcity of water. This always left a burning desire within me to do something for the society regarding this issue. My increasing concern towards preservation of water resources and the motivation within me to fulfill my long cherished with one of my colleague finally gave rise to AQUVIO, our own venture that aims to provide a cost efficient water filtration solution to the society. We at Aquvio have designed a new technology that not only provides potable drinking water with improved yield but also preserves water resources by allowing minimum or nearly zero wastage. Realizing the immense scope of this venture, we have also been incubated in the prestigious Malviya Centre of Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship at IIT BHU. The team at AQUVIO have similar ideology of serving the society by providing technical solutions to growing problems. I have been looking after strategic development and the operations of Aquvio and I firmly believe that Team Aquvio with their hardwork and dedication would go a long way to yield positive results for the society.

Assessment And Retrofitting Of Masonry Arch BridgesIndian Institute Of Technology, Kharagpur Jun 2014 - Jul 2014Kharagpur Area, IndiaI undertook my pre-final year summer internship under Prof. Arghya Deb, Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. I was one of the 3 interns selected from all over the country out of more than 500 prospective applications received by the Professor. My project involved examination of various methods for the determination of Load Carrying Capacity and Damage Detection of Masonry Arch Bridges. Later, different retrofitting techniques were suggested based on the load carrying capacity and degree of damage to the structure. -
Analysis Of A Truss Of 80 Meter SpanRites Ltd. May 2013 - Jun 2013Gurgaon, IndiaI did my third year internship at the RITES Ltd, Gurgaon. I applied off-campus for the internship and was finally selected into it after three rigorous rounds of selection. My task was to analyse an 80-metre span truss. Generally, trusses are designed with the consideration of carrying axial forces only and assuming all the joints are rigid. Usually it doesn't happen. Here my work begins. The following work have been performed during my internship:-> Analyzing the 3 lane truss bridge assuming different combinations of moving load to be of types Class A, Class AA’ and Class 70 R using STAAD Pro.-> To develop a generalized MS Excel program to calculate interaction value for a truss member assuming all the truss members are carrying axial forces and biaxial moments.-> To develop MS Excel program to calculate the required number of bolts at junction of truss members assuming joint to be of rigid type.-> Designing gusset plate using MS Excel program.I was able to find two faulty joints that could have damaged the whole structure. My supervisor and others were very much impressed by my work and they appreciated it. -
Summer InternJmc Projects (India) Ltd May 2012 - Jun 2012Gurgaon, IndiaI visited the construction site "Design of R&D center for Engineers India Limited". The research and development centre was designed as Eco friendly and recycled plants inbuilt. The following work have been performed during the internship:• Gained first time field exposure of casting of foundation, column, beam and flat slab as well as interpritation of drawings• Conduction of a GPS survey to assess the contour pattern of the site and to know the alignment of proper placing of column, slab etc.• Got the knowing about different components of the framework, the procedure of placing the framework and duration of it's placement for different components of structures.• Finally learnt about tie bars, face bars, how to place the reinforcement in beam, column, at junction of beam-column etc., types of columns, types of framework, etc which cleared my concepts significantly and later on played a pivotal role in providing me good knowledge of civil engineering.
