• Implemented Vendor Security Risk Assessment Framework• Managed security risk assessment of 25 UHG’s external vendors in India, USA, and Philippines• Performed gap assessment of UHG’s Information Security Policy with applicable security laws, regulations, and standards including HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO 27001• Provide assistance on business processes, critical risk issues, security exhibit requirements, key controls, and risk mitigation strategies• Provide security architecture advice to business units and service providers• Negotiated contractual security terms and conditions for vendors based on the nature of their relationship with UHG and the results of their security assessment.• Conduct detailed & comprehensive investigation and triage on wide variety of security events, and implement cleanup and remediation processes.

• Designed & implemented web filtering, DLP, antivirus, and email security solution for multiple IBM clients• Technical evaluation of security products (vulnerability scanner, application security testing tools, web gateway, SIEM, advanced authentication, antivirus, HIDS / HIPS, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions• Document security Baselining & hardening documents for critical information systems• Prepare and present reports on significant issues and trends to senior management.
