Graduate Thesis research (Co-advised by Professor Lynn Walker and Professor Dennis Prieve)• Synthesized invert emulsions used as drilling fluids and analyzed their colloidal stabilization with high temperature, high pressure applications for enhanced oil recovery.• Analyzed dynamic surface tension and average size distribution of polymer systems with nano-particles the help of courses like ‘Physical Chemistry of Colloids and Surfaces & Colloids’ and ‘Polymers and Surfaces Lab’.

• Completed a literature survey and compiled a report of the overall project giving the company formulations of polyethylene wax emulsions with optimum surfactant concentrations to choose from.

• Presented my findings to the CE (Chief Executive) of the Care Chemicals division about emulsifier systems used in emulsion polymers and for textile based applications. This was well appreciated and helped the company provide more detailed technical information to existing and potential customers.

• Learnt about implementation of a Lean Manufacturing tool in 5S and conducted market demand analysis for adhesive demand in the fast moving consumer goods sector.
