I am responsible for supporting the complete production lifecycle of processing Travel/Airline data from various sources; backoffice files to GDSs (Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre). This production lifecycle involves acquiring the data from multiple sources, ingesting the data, processing and getting it ready for reporting (ETL). I work closely with business in managing day to day operations, resolve technical issues, debugging, automating. I work closely with various business teams to understand their reporting needs; translate these data requests into technical queries and develop reports needed by the management. I also work closely with IT regarding data structures, data flows, enhancements and implementation details. I work on technologies such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter Notebook), R, Microsoft Sql Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, C#, Microstrategy BI. Data extraction and processing, using APIs/Webservices, Python and SQL Server; JSON, XML.Data Analysis using Python (libraries used: Pandas, Numpy, Scipy).

Managed the Distance Learning Engineering Courseware Website. Responsibilities including resolving Technical issues related to Distance Learning website; Manage the SQL Server Database and create ad-hoc reports for the management.

I was part of the AllianceBernsteins Global Analytics Operations' (GA Ops) offshore team that collected data, performed studies and produced reports in performance attribution, risk analysis, benchmark data, and other analytical studies for institutional clients, retail clients, and private clients. As a part of the GA Ops team I worked closely with the GA Quant Analyst team, the GA IT team. Implemented financial portfolio analysis in order to provide accurate Equity Performance Attribution reports.Implemented new QCs to improve data quality troubleshoot and fix data issues using complex SQL queries.Reviewed results produced by various engines and sign off within tight deadlines. Identify exceptions which caused residuals of more than 40 basis points in the Performance Attribution Reports.Collaborate with different stakeholders to improve the equity attribution engine and perform UAT.Understand the complex processing systems, database structure, processing flow and data / reporting requirements and suggest improvements to the system.
