Personnel responsible for: ca. 3000 nos. at peak, 8 million manhours. Contract type: EPCC lumpsum, construction acceleration by reimbursable amendment, key free issued equipment/ materials lumpsum. Highlights• Largest execution in NCOC with more than 36 months on site, in harsh ambient conditions (-40 to +50C), without serious injury (SFI=0), on time and on budget with quality. Maximum involvement of local contractors and workers, developing the national labor and manufacturing capabilities during the delivery. IPA close-out evaluation: top quartile, 10% ahead of schedule against global industry benchmark. • Maneuvering the project through series of non-technical abnormalities: pandemic, logistic congestions, global semiconductors shortage, social unrest, regional war, and financial instability of contractor(s). Recovered 70% progress in last 1/3rd duration, turning the project from “Hopeless” to “Hopeful”. • Headed the project from scratch in a few years-old nascent organization in terms of processes and resources with complex NOV set-up (7 major oil companies) and dynamic government relations. • Implementation of best project management practices: advanced work packaging, agile execution methodology, Time in Motion (productivity) assessments, systems ownership approach, advanced contract management schemes such as commercial and operational level targeted incentives, KPIs driven performance reviews.
