• Heading Finance, IT & HR: Responsible for leading the finance IT & HR department and supervising over the accountants. Reporting to the Managing Partners and the Financial Director with the monthly reports that include Profit & Loss a/c, Balance Sheet, Ageing of Debtors and Creditors, provisions backup. Revenue reporting includes Billing Revenue report with detailed list, category-wise report, Net to Client, Net to Media, Top Clients report, value add reports, graphical representations, run- rate and forecast of the year, all in spreadsheet files. Cash flow managed and monitored on a daily basis. Preparation of budgets and targets as a part of year-end reports.• Monitoring WIP: All open jobs in the system are monitored periodically and by closely working with the account management team, the status of each are gathered and updated. This ensures less junk in the system and accurate cost to client and cost to agency (if any) and checks revenue leakages.• Split of entity: Responsible for providing separate reports for Digital/Media category with the agreed terms of profit and cost sharing. At present responsible to setup the Digital wing as a stand-alone entity starting from registering the name legally to setting up the books of accounts, bank, visas (partners’ and employees), accounting softwares, etc.• Contracts review, Audits, Intercompany: All are supervised and monitored with the same vigil and expertise as done in the previous agencies.Managed to get the agency a 500% jump in the annual profits within the 6 months in 2013. Setting up the renewal timeline for all contracts 3 months in advance. Analyzed the trend of collections and projected expected collections for the subsequent period. Conducted a thorough analysis for Provisions relating to doubtful debts and developed strategies to recover monies from doubtful clients in order to check its impact on the profits of the concern.• Inter Company Control: Reconciling balances across the IPG network and resolving disputes and discrepancies.
