New Program Launch for EV driveline components

I had the opportunity to lead the launch of EV gears program for Rivian's R1T/R1S platform at Linamar. Rivian, a new customer for our corporation, was unveiling its inaugural product to the public during this time. The launch coincided with the challenging backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, which presented unique supply chain and labor obstacles.In response to these challenges, I engaged closely with stakeholders from the customer, suppliers, and within our organization to ensure the tight deadlines for Rivian's R1 platform launch were met. Through the collective efforts of a dedicated launch team and strong relationships with our customers and suppliers, we not only achieved the launch on schedule but also surpassed expectations, both externally with the customer and internally within our corporation.This achievement played a pivotal role in securing two additional programs for our corporation, covering Rivian's next-gen EV driveline components.My responsibilities in this role encompassed leading the development of innovative processes and manufacturing methods, with a primary goal of enhancing capacity and efficiency. I served as the driving force behind continuous improvement initiatives, and I diligently reported on project statuses to our senior executive team and key stakeholders.In addition, I coordinated essential activities such as part inspections, testing, and the timely delivery and shipment of components. Collaboration within a cross-functional team was central to meeting critical timing, cost, and profitability targets. This experience at Linamar equipped me with invaluable skills in project management, process optimization, and effective collaboration. These skills have not only enhanced my ability to excel in dynamic and challenging environments but have also deepened my appreciation for the intricate and fast decision-making skills that underpin successful projects like the one I led at Linamar.
