Planned, directed, and controlled all HR programs for the Office of Inspector General (OIG).Acted as principal advisor to the Inspector General on the most complex HR regulatory, policy, and operational matters, providing program leadership and direction of HR program guidance, policy development, and innovative initiatives. Independently provided advice and guidance - while providing day-to-day operational support services - in all HR functional areas including (but not limited to): Work Life and Benefits (CSRS and FERS retirement, Insurances - FEHB, FEGLI, and Long-Term Care, TSP, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAFeds), Federal Transit Subsidy, Telework, EAP, Health Unit, etc.); Outreach & Recruitment strategies (Acquiring OPM's Delegated Examining Unit (DEU) Certification, leading nationwide recruiting efforts, developed the OIG's Federal Careers Intern Program (for Auditors), and managed the Executive Resources/SES certification programs); Position Management & Classification; Pay Administration; Strategic Workforce Management; Disciplinary and Adverse Actions; Reasonable Accommodations, Awards & Recognition, and Performance Management (GS & SES [the Executive Resources Board]). I led a team of managers (including SES) in developing a new Performance Appraisal system for the Office, resulting in the development of the organization's “Personal Business Commitment Plan”, which earned a Special Act Award.
