Dushanbe, Tajikistan

- Drafted political analyses on major developments in Tajikistan, as well as chief of mission’s meeting reports, and the Embassy’s monthly and quarterly activities reports- Drafted letters and NVs of the chief of mission’s office to Afghan and Tajik government and nongovernmental bodies in Dari/Pashto, English and Tajik (Cyrillic) on a daily basis- Organized high level visits of Afghan officials to Tajikistan and prepared briefing packages for visits of high level delegations, including the Afghan President, Chief Executive, and Foreign Minister- Drafted talking points for all chief of mission’s meetings with foreign ambassadors and Tajik officials, as well as for high level visitors’ meetings and provided interpretation for chief of mission at all diplomatic receptions, meetings, and events

Dushanbe, Tajikistan

- Drafted political and administrative sections’ correspondence and assisted in preparing monthly reports- Interpreted during chief of mission’s meetings and translated documents from English/Tajik to Dari- Drafted all correspondence relating to the construction project of the diplomatic compound of the Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe, between the Embassy, Afghan MFA, contracting company and Tajik authorities. The project was implemented from 2008 to 2011 with a total budget of about six million U.S. dollars. The work included preparing monitoring and evaluation, as well as technical and progress of work reports;- Processed all correspondence to/from MFA, Kabul via embassy’s electronic system; - Assisted admin/finance department with HR issues including employees’ contracts and agreements and acted as consular assistant for one year, assisted in passport and visa issuance, legalization of documents and other consular services;- Developed the official website of the embassy and regularly updated its materials and carried out graphic designing for occasional cards, invitations and other printing materials.
