Social Roots is the founder and curator of "ATTITUDE: A Mental Health Summit for African American Women", a three-time sold-out affair! This event focuses on the disproportionate health outcomes of Black women and creates safe spaces for Black women to be heard and seen by Black mental and physical health professionals. The objective of the program is to promote awareness of health disparities, combat stigma, and shame, and create a sense of community for Black women in Phoenix, Arizona.
