A Registered Civil Engineer with 6.5 years of professional experience in the field of Civil Engineering, 4.5 years of which worked as a General Consultant in Large Scale Infrastructure Project focusing on Underground Construction Industry.Assigned as a General Consultant for the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) and responsible for the Overall Management of the Project under the Resident Engineer Team, my major tasks include (1) Technical Bid Evaluation, (2) Project Coordination, (3) Technical Review & Documentation, (4) Project Management & Construction Supervision, and (5) Construction Progress Monitoring.Working as an Assistant Project Coordinator & Structure Inspector (Civil), I was assigned to assist the Client, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Project Management Office, in the procurement of Civil Works Contract Package 102, 103, 105, 108, and 109, and performs the duty of preparation of the Bidding Documents and evaluation of Technical Bids in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Tender Documents.One of the major task assigned to me is assisting the Chief Resident Engineer-cum-Project Manager (Infrastructure) and Resident Civil Engineers in the management and supervision of the Contractors to ensure their compliance with the standard specifications, quality assurance, quality control, and safety, as required under JICA Funded Projects by facilitating the overall inspection of works for Civil Structures and ensuring that the construction works are executed in accordance with all provisions of the contract, including standards of workmanship and other safety provisions and environmental protections.Other tasks I've performed revolves around Project Coordination to ensure smooth coordination among the Client, the Contractors, and the Engineer regarding site concerns which require resolutions for the continuous progress of the construction works. In addition, I've performed detailed review of the Technical Documents submitted by the Contractors (e.g., Method Statements, Construction & Shop Drawings, Requests for Inspections, Request for Information, and General Letter Correspondences) to ensure compliance with the Employer’s Requirements and the General & Technical Specifications from the Contract Documents prior to implementation on site.Lastly, I was delegated to prepare the Monthly Progress Report for Civil Works both for Station Box and Tunneling based on the Construction Progress of the Contractors and assesses the impact on the approved Construction Program for Construction Progress Monitoring.
