    I held the position of trade marketing manager in the marketing department of Madame Vacances, one of France’s leading suppliers of holiday accommodations in France, Spain, Morocco and the Balearic Islands. 

I had responsibility for creating contracts, and maintaining contact with Tour Operators working in the German, Dutch, Belgian, and Scandinavian markets to ensure our products were well represented on these markets. This position allowed me to develop my knowledge of international business, my commercial awareness, my customer service skills and my French language proficiency. I was also responsible for facilitating our involvement in a number of large international marketing events including Grand Ski and Rendez-vous en France both based in France, ITB Berlin in Germany and Vakantibeurs in the Netherlands. Whilst working within Madame Vacances, I was also working closely with the Business Development Manager on a three-year renovation project of our products. Our first task was to manage a new venture called the Café del Mott: an ‘après-ski’ terrace bar and restaurant with the intention to develop the brand in the future by opening sister bars across the alps. This project was hugely exciting as it allowed me to follow a business plan from conception through to our successful opening in December 2013. Throughout the process I was asked to create a new brand, source materials and products, create press releases and promote brand awareness through social media sites.

    Acting as assistant to the Venue Logistics Manager my task was to aid in the strategic planning and operational delivery of venue logistics within Lords Cricket Ground and latterly Park Lane Hotels. During this post we had a very narrow time frame of implementation and so were constantly working to demanding time constraints. This was a post that demanded superior organizational, problem-solving and communication skills in order to produce world-class Olympic venues and allowed me to work effectively and productively in a team environment.
