Profile bio

About Roisin Mcnulty

Experienced Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a diverse career spanning across Athlete Health & Performance as well as Healthcare Technology Innovation. I recently completed the Stanford-affiliated BioInnovate Ireland fellowship (2023-2024) as the clinical lead on the Rehabilitation & Orthopedics Team, where our team applied the needs-led Biodesign process to identify an extensive list of unmet needs in our clinical space. I had the privilege to pitch at the 2024 BioInnovate symposium on a Non-Pharmacological Treatment for Insomnia/Sleep Enhancement.Currently, I work in roles that align with both of my passions. As a Senior Advisor with Cirque du Soleil, I support Performance Medicine operations across 10 tours globally, including clinical governance, complex case management, mentoring teams on the road and recruitment. At CrannMed, in my role as Clinical Specialist, I contribute insights into the patient journey and clinical pathways, support clinical trial planning, and explore pipeline applications for a novel resorbable embolic to improve the lives of individuals with debilitating musculoskeletal conditions including Knee Osteoarthritis and Shoulder Adhesive Capsulitis.I am a keen collaborator and thrive in team environments. My time working as the Head Physiotherapist on Cirque du Soleil's OVO (2016-2020) was formative in understanding how the collaborative intelligence and experience of a group with varied backgrounds can yield innovative solutions to problems. My subsequent role at Red Bull Athlete Performance (2021-2023) was deeply rooted in problem solving within an interdisciplinary team to enhance outcomes for performers at the top of their field.

Listed skills include Sports Injuries, Musculoskeletal, Physical Therapy, Exercise Prescription, and 39 others.
