Analysing local labour market data in order to provide insights on market direction, trends, opportunities and risks to help provide effective employability support to our programme participants. I convey my analysis to sales, accounts, operations and senior leadership teams, tailoring the information and its format to suit specific needs and use case scenarios. Furthermore, I engage heavily with the senior leadership team to aid with business analysis, process improvement and performance analysis, producing visually engaging reports that indicate areas of improvement and processes that require attention. In both capacities my work increases contract delivery effectiveness, resulting in more of our participants securing sustainable employment. Utilising statistics and advanced data analysis techniques to identify engagement points and opportunities between current labour market trends and participant caseloads to aid the sales and accounts teams in securing relevant opportunities and take foothold in emerging industries. Visualising data using MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker to simplify and effectively convey complex data insights. Clearly and concisely presenting findings in verbal and/or written form to multidisciplinary teams as well as on an individual basis. Following the region’s labour market trends closely by utilising a variety of sources and relationships to do so, such as Lightcast, ONS, NOMIS, Local Enterprise Partners and Local Authority representatives.

I held the position as a secondment to help the organisation implement the largest to date DWP employability contract “Restart”, secured in two contract patch areas, combined worth £549.3m and delivered to an estimated 274,500 jobseekers over 5 years. The implementation period was 2 months and involved a number of high intensity projects with extremely tight deadlines. Reviewed and adapted a number of policy documents from other contracts, including complaints and zero-tolerance policies Developed service delivery flowcharts and definitions for them, defined several new roles and their job descriptions. Worked with senior stakeholders to set role KPIs, design and produce performance appraisal process and documentation. Collaborated with the MI team to reflect set KPIs on appropriate internal performance reports. Co-developed and delivered initial contract overview and service delivery training sessions to operations staff and management teams.

I delivered tailored employability support to jobseekers who lost employment due to the pandemic as part of DWP JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) contract. By providing participants with tailored career advice and support, as well as engaging local employers, I helped 64 people return to employment and around a hundred to obtain new skills and/or qualifications. This positioned me as one of the most effective Advisers at the time I progressed, achieving over 130% of my target and topping Graduate Scheme league tables. Contributed to the launch of JETS programme and continuously worked with the line manager to provide feedback and improve service delivery. Took on additional responsibilities such as coaching new starters and completing Future Managers Academy in preparation to progress into management role. Championed for the health and wellbeing service, briefing and motivating the team on best practice using the service.

Recruited the best candidates as part of Recruitment Managed Service and RPO partner for temporary and contingent recruitment on high level contracts for accounts within the banking and financial services sector. Conducted 6 to 10 telephone interviews daily, working towards and exceeding KPIs within tight deadlines, while ensuring objective scoring so only highest calibre candidates were selected to satisfy client requirements and needs. Efficiently dealt with candidate and contractor queries regarding their placement and recruitment or vetting process. This included resolving queries ranging from payment issues to general updates. Dealt with administrative tasks effectively. These included entering candidate details, handling documents, keeping an up-to-date diary and complying with various policies and laws such as GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
