I held the position as a secondment to help the organisation implement the largest to date DWP employability contract “Restart”, secured in two contract patch areas, combined worth £549.3m and delivered to an estimated 274,500 jobseekers over 5 years. The implementation period was 2 months and involved a number of high intensity projects with extremely tight deadlines. Reviewed and adapted a number of policy documents from other contracts, including complaints and zero-tolerance policies Developed service delivery flowcharts and definitions for them, defined several new roles and their job descriptions. Worked with senior stakeholders to set role KPIs, design and produce performance appraisal process and documentation. Collaborated with the MI team to reflect set KPIs on appropriate internal performance reports. Co-developed and delivered initial contract overview and service delivery training sessions to operations staff and management teams.
Employment Advisor (Jets Ne)
I delivered tailored employability support to jobseekers who lost employment due to the pandemic as part of DWP JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) contract.
