From on-court plays to signing players and having a long-term vision for club – strategy is what defines winners from average Joes. It’s that ability to understand your own strengths and determine weak spots of the competition that got me where I am right now, career-wise. Having spent most of my career in the professional basketball management business in Lithuania, where ball is life, literally, I gradually progressed in sport management at a relatively small town basketball club. This gave me a clear-cut vision how this business works – from locker room talks to signing big games, and coming from nowhere to winning titles. The club and I grew stronger and bigger together. Because we had clear vision.
