About Rob Kok

As the Head of Medical Affairs at CBR, the national organization for driver licensing in the Netherlands, I am responsible for the quality of decisions by a team of medical professionals who conduct fitness to drive assessment for various groups of drivers. With a Ph.D. in Medicine and over 20 years of experience in public health and social insurance medicine, I have a strong background in applying scientific research and methods to improve health outcomes and policy decisions.For nearly ten years I enjoy teaching and mentoring young colleagues in the Netherlands School of Public and Occupational Health, where I guide them completing their research projects. My mission is to advance the quality and reliability of medical evaluation and education in the public health domain.
