He holds aDoctorate of Philosophy in Civil Engineering specializing in Structures andMaterials, Building Science and Real Estate Development. His doctorate degreefocused on environmentally sustainable engineering materials and systems, withthesis research on the use of industrial waste by-products in construction materialsto achieve better performance and durability. Recently, Roland has been working in the Medical Services industry, in a business and real estate capacity in his role as Managing Director for Oasis International.
