First of all, why the Lyon area? I love this very nice territory (2nd biggest town in France) where a lot of medical or pharmaceutical companies are installed. This area is also particularly dynamic with a lot of new start'upsI've created this company as I have my own opinion in the way of making business, defending the ethics, respecting the suppliers and customers. I like high tech products, new concepts as it's more exciting and that avoids speaking in term of "discount". It gives the opportunity to change the rules and to focus on gross margins and profitability, the only way to ensure quality service and proximity to customers. Also my long and varied experience in the trade of medical equipment allows me to select quality systems while making sure their sustainability.

Too short experience, having just time to negociate an agreement with a british company for the distribution in France of ventilators for anaesthesia and to adapt monitors to the french market before organizing training for the sales team. The company is going to be bought very soon by Esaote

Very big challenge: To create the french subsidiary of SonoSite Inc starting alone with the support of the european headquaters and building a team (sales reps, service, admin) and launching a new concept (portable ultrasound systems) on the french market. A very exciting and enriching challenge !
