As a senior lawyer and mediator, I am passionate about preventing and solving legal problems. With a broad practice focused on commercial litigation, regulatory prosecutions, professional misconduct matters, defamation claims, employment litigation, OHS prosecutions and Coroners Court matters; I am privileged to help clients with a broad range of legal needs. I often appear in courts and tribunals on the instructions of other lawyers, in particular assisting with technical, procedural or otherwise novel arguments. I have particular experience in finding solutions to highly complex problems and salvaging matters which need a change of strategy.As an AMDRAS (formerly NMAS)-accredited mediator, I assist parties to court-ordered mediations, workplace and interpersonal disputes to achieve a resolution. I have a particular interest in disputes involving high-conflict personalities.With a strong interest in improving standards in the legal profession and supporting colleagues' professional development, I am fortunate enough to contribute to the profession by serving on several relevant professional boards and committees.
