· Transitioned the department through various operational changes as the organization’s needs warranted:- 2020 developed budget tracking system along with budget training for current and new Organization managers. - 2019 Returned Food Service back into Organizational folder and maintain operating budget within predetermined parameters. · 2017 Negotiated with outside food service operation vendor and oversaw transition of the department from an in-house operation to an outsourced operation with the contracted vendor allowing for the reduction in personnel and inventory for the parent organization· 2014 streamlined operations by creating and transitioning to a centralized kitchen operation from a multi-kitchen operation reducing redundant expenses in payroll and inventory· Developed a Food Service training program for Clients with on the job experience that was complimented with class-room trainings creating a low-cost labor pool for the department.· Oversaw daily operation of several kitchens serving over 300 meals daily.· Initiated a feedback system that improved customer service relations between Food Services department and clients· Created seasonal cycle menus with input and approval from organization nutritionists taking into consideration the ethnic diversity of the organization’ s clients. · Worked with Organization Programs on improving client attendance through special meals and event incentives
